Woooah - it's been simply ages since we told you we were going to be bringing you this comic!
Well, the wait is finally over! I spent last weekend hammering nails into the relevant parts of the BVC website and otherwise generally putting everything into place so that (fresh disasters permitting!), we're now ready to launch our new comic Speakeasy! The first page will be posted this coming Friday (20 Feb 2009) and we'll be updating every Friday thereafter.
I'm obviously not going to give away any major spoilers this close to launch but, just to whet your appetite, I can tell you that Speakeasy is a short horror story set in Prohibition-era Chicago. Artwork is by the brilliant Wes Huffor.
Oh, and if you can't wait for the Friday updates, go to Wes's website and buy a copy of his anthology Charnel House. Inside, you'll find Speakeasy and four other stories all superby illustrated by Wes himself ... cheers!
